i've been busy working on clouds peak.

anyway, fourth place in the shiki kukai:

the snake curled

I like both of them, but the first one reminds me of the time I had chooks and we were being bothered by one of those pesky Common Brown snakes.

One day it got in as my then partner was checking out the very small coup, and the hens were pecking at it, but it didn't attack them or her. Aussie snakes are just too darned polite and patient with humans, but I think it got a hen the following week and it took a few days to die.

Both haiku are good and it must have been one helluva kukai if three others got in before you!
