a picture in a national geographic magazine inspired this haiku. i was bored while waiting for a haircut at the barbershop. but the photo was so beautiful, i had to write about it.

Dustin, we were similarly inspired (see my entry for 2006-03-03, #545,Scarlet Ibises)...however it was not Nat. Geog. that was the inspiration for me but the Smithsonian book about the planet earth.
